Rolls-Royce has always been a niche segment product with a handful of buyers, which drives them to build some of the most exotic and rare customized uber-luxury cars. One such recently revealed and limited number car is the Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk Special Edition. And Rolls Royce has divulged some additional images and information for the same.
Created exclusively for North America (like most of the customized vehicles are), the Special Edition Phantom was unveiled recently in Arizona and is up for grabs at one of the company's 41 dealerships in North America. The luxurious customized car is limited to nine units only and comes with a Diamond Black metallic body paint combined with a Matt Diamond Black hood.
On the exterior, the car gets a windscreen radar-absorbent material (RAM) inspired surround for the windscreen, the coating used in aviation. The car also comes equipped with the adaptive LED headlights (with LED daytime running lights). The Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk special edition is powered by a V12 6750 cc engine producing 453 bhp & 719 Nm of torque.
While the exteriors are gorgeous, it is the interiors that gets the most significant changes. The car boasts of a Hotspur Red and Black full-grain leather upholstery while carbon fiber accents can be noticed on the dashboard panels, dials (with incandescent orange tips) and on the panels adorning the coach doors. As a final touch, Rolls-Royce has used leather to wrap the transmission tunnel and boot trim.
The price of the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk Special Edition is not yet disclosed but will command a high premium considering the exclusivity it offers.
