The American automaker, Ford, has planned something crucial as the company is supposed to make an unknown global debut on 3rd February in India. The company has been operating its business operations since 1998 in the country and, considering the growth rate here, the global debut is likely to be made for an Indian market oriented product. Ford presently have five products in its Indian portfolio, however, except EcoSport and Classic none other model is doing sufficiently good in their respective segments.
Although, company has not given hint for the upcoming model, but on the basis of speculations and earlier test mules that was spotted in other countries, the company is likely to launch the next-generation Figo this time. Ford developed the Figo especially for the growing markets like India and Brazil. And certainly this hatchback has given a new strong horizon to the company to explore in the market.
However, the Figo has become one ineffective product in its segment due to no launch of a new version. Nonetheless, the test mule of next generation Figo (Ka in other market) was spotted several times in Brazil in the recent time, that makes the most chances for the new Figo to be unveiled on 3rd February in India. The launch of Fiesta facelift could also not be denied completely as company it is one of the much-needed products in Ford's portfolio for India to gain the foothold in the sedan segment.
