Finally Hero MotoCorps. have launched the new Hunk at a price of INR 69,725 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for single disc and INR 72,825 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for double disc variant. Over-all the bike has gone through some of the minor changes and rest remains the same. The 150cc single cylinder ATFT engine remains the same but is tuned slightly to deliver a better performance, maximum power has been raised from 14bhp previously to 15.6bhp, while the engine delivers 13.5Nm of torque now (which was 13Nm earlier). The engine continues to be mated with a five-speed transmission.
The bike is offered in two variants including a double disc variant and a single disc variant. The new Hero Hunk utilizes a 240mm disc at the front (which is offered as a standard), while rear is equipped with a 220mm disc (optional). The suspension duties are performed by the inverted GRS gas-charged suspension, with five-step preload adjustability. The bike also gets a new air filter. Other than that the bike haven’t received any more changes but new graphics & colours including bold brown, panther black, matte black, force silver, ebony grey and blazing red. It directly competes with Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i, TVS Apache RTR 160, Yamaha SZ-RR, Suzuki GS 150R, Yamaha FZ-16 and Honda CB Unicorn 160.
