Honda Car India is gearing up to launch the refreshed Honda Amaze on 16th May, 2018. The new version of the compact sedan was unveiled at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo and garnered lot of attention. It comes with a completely revised appearance that grabs attention at the very first glimpse. It boasts a muscular and stylish appearance with inspiration from its bigger siblings in the Honda’s car lineup.

The Japanese auto manufacturer has already started receiving bookings for the 2018 Honda Amaze and it has also released the first TVC of the car showing the main features. The 2018 Honda Amaze comes with a completely redesigned front fascia that looks muscular and boxy. It sports revised sharp looking headlamps, a new front grille with thicker chrome slat and a revamped front bumper. The flat look at the front profile adds zing to the sedan.

Changes have been made to the side and rear profile as well. It runs on new design alloy wheels and sports refreshed taillights. The car has received changes inside the cabin as well. The 2018 Honda Amaze gets new steering wheel, redesigned instrument cluster and a fresh touchscreen infotainment system with. Clearly, it has taken inspiration from the Honda City. The compact sedan also offers generous amount of space and comfort to the occupants. It will certainly challenge the segment leader Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Hyundai Xcent as well.

Carried over from the current Honda Amaze, the new version gets both petrol and diesel engine options. It gets a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. The petrol motor churns out 87 bhp of peak power and 110 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel engine generates 98.6 bhp of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a CVT as well. The diesel CVT model will come as the segment first.
