Honda CR-V has never been an impressive revenue generator for the Japanese automaker. The automaker is not expecting to break that trend as well, but with the premiumness on offer, this will strengthen the brand’s presence in the Indian car market. It will come with significant yet subtle design changes compared to its predecessor. The specs are yet to be disclosed by the brand, but expect it to get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, powered driver seat, dual zone automatic climate control etc along with some driving aid technology as well.

The India-spec Honda-CR-V is expected to be available in both petrol and diesel engine options with the motors being a 2.0-litre unit and a 1.6-litre one respectively. Both the engines will be paired with automatic transmission, as there won’t be any manual gearbox. The 2.0-litre petrol engine is capable of churning out 152 bhp of peak power and 189 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel motor will kick out 153 bhp of peak power and 192 Nm of torque output.
