Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the new Ertiga in the Indian market by Diwali 2018 and ahead of that, the automaker is testing the MPV here for quite some time. As Maruti Suzuki is readying to introduce a new 6-speed manual transmission to its new crop of cars, the new Ertiga too will be among them. The latest spyshots of the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga have revealed all-new 6-speed manual gearbox.

The all-new version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will come incorporating a wide range of changes inside out. Not only design and feature updates, it is also expected to be available with significant mechanical update. An inhouse developed bigger and better 1.5-litre diesel engine will be there replacing the current Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre DDiS diesel motor. Combined with the new 6-speed manual transmission, the new diesel engine is expected to deliver impressive performance.
As the new Ertiga has already hit the Indonesian market, it comes with a new larger front grille, sharper headlamps with LED projector lamps and integrated LED daytime running lights. The front and rear bumpers too come with an updated look. Moving to side profile, there are larger and stylish looking alloy wheels. Rear gets new design LED taillights, roof spoiler. Dimensionally, the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga appears 99 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 5 mm taller than the current model.

Inside the cabin, new Ertiga MPV comes offering more space and comfort to the occupants. It gets new multifunction steering wheel, revised instrument cluster, a larger and new touchscreen infotainment system. A layered looking dashboard, upmarket quality seat and upholstery materials add zing to the cabin.
