With 2014 Indian Auto Expo inching closer, all the automakers have started revealing about the cars they are planning to showcase at the event. The Japanese automajor Nissan will mark its presence at the Delhi Auto Expo with an exciting range of models for the Indian market. The company will showcase the new Nissan Sunny, 'Friend-Me' concept car and championship winning GT-R GT 500 at the event.
Launched in 2011, Nissan Sunny is the company's flagship product, which is now ready to receive mid-life makeover. With some cosmetic alterations, the new Sunny facelift looks sportier than before. The front fascia of the facelifted Sunny gets a new bumper, revised grille and handlamps. However, the side and rear profiles of the car are likely to remain unchanged. If rumours are to be believed, Nissan might also launch a price-cut version of the car to lure entry level sedan buyers. Mechanically, the car will have no changes.
Sharing the stage with the updated Sunny will be the Friend-Me concept car, which demonstrates Nissan's vision of how the future generation saloons will look. The Friend-Me is the combination of sporty and dynamic design with Nissan's latest vision of in-car technology and entertainment. Nissan will also display the famous GT-R GT500, which has won a championship in Japan's Super GT series' GT500 class.
Other products to be unveiled at the event are Terrano's accessorized version, Evalia with improved features and few other existing ones.
