The annual motor show in Geneva, held every year in March, sees many new entries, both in the luxury sports cars sector, as well as in the family car sector. The year 2013 also saw many new models introduced for the first time. The Japanese car manufacturers introduced their new model ‘Suzuki to the European sector. Suzuki is a well known car in India; you can see it practically on roads all over India. However, for the general European drivers the car is still an unknown factor. The car manufacturers hoped that with the introduction of this new car the European audience would get to know more about the vehicle and accept it.
The latest SX4 model is big enough in size to enter the segment C of cars in the European markets. The interior is spacious as well and is able to take more luggage in the rear where the seat can be folded back to turn the back into a department for luggage. The space is which opens up is nearly 430L and is an impressive addition from the older model.
Both the interior and the exterior of the car are improved and have new additions in sophisticated technology. The bonnet of the car has a round shape and head lights have LED DRLs added. The roof curves elegantly and has a glass sunroof which can be easily opened up for the enjoyment of the occupants.
In the engineering field Suzuki says that the car has a latest technology called “Allgrip” in 4WD system. The engine has the following features:
- The paddles on the steering operate this mode. The new Allgrip system gives an option to the driver to select any mode.
- Petrol engine can give 88-Kw.
- The interior of the car is both functional and refined. The material used is soft and is of good quality
The Suzuki has introduced this car for the European sector we need to see how the selected segment relates to the car and accepts it.
