It's a well known fact that Tata Motors has been struggling really hard to keep its car sales momentum going in the country, as most of its products are now perceived to be outdated or almost similar in design. However, the company has huge plans for future; it already unveiled 8 models at the Horizonxt a couple of months back.
Tata Indica Vista, which is company's one of the top-seller too looks quite outdated now, considering the kind of cars it has in competition. So, to bring things back on track, Tata Motors is planning to roll out the new Indica Vista in the Indian market, which we expect to be unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. And what further assures us about the same is the fact that recently the car was spotted doing its test-run in India.
Despite being a feature rich, well priced and good at drivability, the Vista has been losing its charm gradually, and the reason is the Tata's signature design, which we see on almost all the vehicles. So, this time the company has re-worked on the styling, so to make the Indica Vista look different. The front fascia of the car will be inspired by Manza hybrid, which was showcased at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo. Other changes at the front include redesigned headlamps and front bumper with triangular airdams.
The rear too will get newly designed tail lamps and the number plate is likely to be placed on the boot-lid. Since the engine options offered on the car are proven and potent ones, we expect them to remain same. It will continue to sport the 1.3-litre Quadrajet and 1.2-litre petrol mill.
