New Tata Sumo Gold is here; 6 months EMI Holiday

Snapshot: Tata Motors that unveiled the new Sumo Gold at HORIZONEXT in June has now rolled out the vehicle in India. Launched in a total five variants- GX, FX, EX, LX and CX and four colours- Blazing Red, Twilight Grey Arctic Silver and Porcelain White, the new Sumo Gold has come at a starting price of Rs 5.93 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Tata Motors that unveiled the new Sumo Gold at HORIZONEXT in June has now rolled out the vehicle in India. Launched in a total five variants- GX, FX, EX, LX and CX and four colours- Blazing Red, Twilight Grey Arctic Silver and Porcelain White, the new Sumo Gold has come at a starting price of Rs 5.93 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Other than some new features offered with the car, Tata Motors has come up with an exciting scheme, which frees its customers from paying 6 months EMI. So, if one buys the car now, the EMI will start from April 2014. Other benefits that Tata Motors is offering with the car are double wheel service interval at 30,000km, insurance at Rs 1 for 3 years and 3 years/1 lakh km warranty.

The features that the new Sumo Gold carries are first in segment Dual AC, latest music system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, with hands free mobile phone reception, 5m turning radius (best in class), softened suspension, best-in-class ground clearance of 182mm and several others.

The new offering is a result of extensive consumer studies and field tests to fulfill various requirements, long-awaited by the new generation customer.

The new Sumo gold derives its power from the 3.0-litre CR4 engine which produces maximum power output of 84bhp at 3000rpm and 250Nm of peak torque at 1000-2000rpm, while delivering a 15.3kmpl of mileage.
