Toyota Kirloskar Motor has silently launched the new Land Cruiser Prado in India for Rs 84.87 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and bookings for the car has also been started with immediate effect. With some noticeable style and feature updates, it's basically a mid-life facelift version of the SUV. The exterior changes given to the car include new design front grille, bumper, fog lamps, headlamps & rear combination lamp. The car has also received newly designed rear license plate garnish and LED headlamps with DRLs (daytime running lamps).
Updated Land Cruiser Prado has received some positive changes inside the cabin as well including second row seat heater, ornamental changes in the centre console, multi-terrain monitor, display audio with 7" screen and new design optitron metre. It also gets Crawl Control, which makes accelerator and brake operations unnecessary when driving over jagged off-road terrain or slippery surfaces so that the drive can concentrate fully on steering.
There's also a Multi-Terrain Select system that allows its drive to choose between different road condition modes- Rock, Rock & Dirt, Mogul, Loose Rock and Mud & Sand. The new car has been made available in five different colours- White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic, Dark Blue Metallic and Black along with two interior colours- Flaxen & Black.
