TVS Motor has announced its Victor 110 as the new efficient offering in the hot-selling commuter segment. The price for the base drum variant is Rs 49,490 and for the disc is Rs 51,490 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). A new 3-valve engine will perform duties in the new Victor with a strong output of 9.4bhp. The company claims an impressive fuel efficiency figure of 76kmpl. TVS will offer the Victor with a drum and a disc brake option.
Engineers have worked to keep the weight low, with the drum version weighing in at 112kg and the disc just a kilogram more. Since its launch Victor has proved to be a successful motorcycle for the company and the new re-launched iteration will add to TVS sales numbers in the segment. This new lighter motorcycle has a single cradle tubular frame for agile handling, paired with low rolling resistance Remora tyres. The rear suspension spring can be adjusted at 5-steps. The 8 litre fuel tank (with 2 litre reserve capacity) coupled with a claimed fuel efficieny figure of 76kmpl would mean a theoritical range of nearly 600km on a full tank of petrol!
