Iconic Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha will soon launch the new 2019 YZF-R15 V3.0 Monster Energy MotoGP version of the popular 150cc motorcycle in the next couple of months. It remains to be seen what the overall appeal and look will be, however, we expect that the new R15 V3.0 will carry a look akin to the Yamaha R125 MotoGP model that recently debuted in the UK.

Though the 2019 Yamaha R15 V3 is still the same, the only new change is the inclusion of Monster Energy branding after it became Yamaha MotoGP team’s title sponsor and the same new R15 model will soon be available for buyers in the new 2019 MotoGP shades.

Unlike last year’s limited edition R15 V3 MotoGP version of the bike, the upcoming Yamaha model will sport Monster Energy decal and sticker graphics. This new Yamaha R15 V3 will feature black shade more than the blue colour, similar to the MotoGP motorcycle model ridden by Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi and the UK-spec R125.

The 2019 R15 V3 MotoGP model is powered by the existing 155cc, 4-valve, fuel injected, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine with VVA or Variable Valve Actuation and churns 19.7bhp and 15Nm of max torque. The powertrain is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the bike is also equipped with slipper clutch.
