Audi has started testing the next-generation A8 luxury sedan and was spied doing some test rounds in sporting wraparounds. Looking at the car, as it is covered with vinyl camouflage, the front gets a some prominent design cues, including a newly designed hexagonal grille with new headlamps. There are no images of the interior, but the new A8 will be first company’s first car to be loaded with semi-autonomous driving, and will also feature Audi’s Virtual Cockpit System, company’s latest MMI system with gesture control and an OLED. The car is expected to a a series of petrol and diesel engines, while the company could also sell it with a W12 turbo-petrol unit from the new Bentayga or could be a tri-turbo diesel from the new SQ7.
