The next generation Hyundai i20 has been spied testing in Spain and according to WorldCarFans, will be launched in 2014.

Hyundai is hard at work testing the next generation i20 which, according to the spied image, may feature rather aggressive sweptback headlights, a bigger lower front grille and vertical taillights. It may come with a tailgate-mounted spoiler and turn signals on the outside rear-view mirrors.

The car wil get the 1.4 litre 4 cylinder petrol motor as well as the 1.4 litre U2 CRDi diesel engine, however nothing is clear as of now. These mills will be mated to the standard 6-speed manual transmission or the four speed automatic gearbox, although we wish Hyundai introduces atleast a 5 speed auto this time.

The Hyundai i20 may grow in size and feature a longer wheelbase in order to clearly differentiate it from the Grand i10 which has grown in size itself over the previous gen i10.
