Here is the first set of images of the next-generation Hyundai Verna in production guise in China and it’s a fact that the Fluidic design by Hyundai has been loved by the consumers in the market. This is the production form of the Concept that showcased at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show. The concept displayed was a near-production model and now we can distinguish the changes through these images.

In order to fit into the production line some of the features has been scaled down like hexagonal grille with horizontal slats differs from that of the chrome grille as seen in the concept, light cluster, bumper design and wheels. In the spy shot, you will see two variants of the model, where the base variant gets halogen headlamps and small steel wheels while the higher version sports LED DRLs, projector headlights, foglamps, diamond cut larger alloy wheels, sunroof, chrome door handles, keyless entry and tinted windows.
Reportedly, it measures 4,380mm in length, 1,728mm in width, 1,460mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,600mm (the wheelbase has been extended by 30 mm over its predecessor).
Mechanically, the 2017 Hyundai Verna could retains the same set of engines available in the country. Petrol variants get a 1.4-litre gasoline engine with VTVT technology equipped in the base trims and for the higher trims and with this, Verna 1.6 sx VTVT engine is also available. Similarly, diesel variants also get a 1.4-litre CRDi engine housed in the entry level variants and a 1.6-litre CRDi motor armed in the top end trims.
