Maruti is on a pace, where the brand is readying for the launch of its compact crossover Ignis and the performance enhanced model, Baleno RS in couple of months, the company is also rushing for the new Swift Dzire, as the car has been spied doing some test rounds in the country. These fresh set of spy images shows the car is covered in a full camouflage wrap.
With the phenomenal response of the models like the company’s premium hatchback Baleno and the Vitara Brezza, Maruti Suzuki is all set to take the Indian market with the launch of the new Dzire. Going by the spy images, is difficult to know about the exterior and interior details. However, it will feature new projector headlamps with DRLs, new front grille and at the rear, it will get a new LED taillamp. While inside, it will come with a new dash layout that can also be introduced in the new Swift, a new infotainment system, high resolution multi-information display and a new set of alloy wheels.
Speaking of the engine spec, the new Swift Dzire is expected to draw its power from the 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 litre diesel mill, same as incorporated in the existing models. It is also being rumoured that the company could also introduce a 1.0 litre BoosterJet engine in the new Dzire along with SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) technology.
The model will most likely roll out from the Maruti Suzuki’s new plant in Gujarat, where the operation will commence by early next year and it will make its launch in late 2017 or early 2018.
