Next-Gen Royal Enfield Classic 350 spotted testing.
The first time it is spotted with alloy wheels and a wind deflector.
Next-gen Classic 350 will be an all-new model.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted testing – but for the first time, it has been spotted with a wind deflector and alloy wheels. The next generation of Classic 350 is expected to launch at some point this year.
The new-gen Classic 350 that was spotted testing had two-tone alloy wheels on it, which is quite a premium feature. This also means that the new Classic 350 has tubeless tyres. The wind deflector is also a first for the Classic series – it has never been available with a windscreen right from the factory. The BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is launched recently at a price point of Rs 1.65 lakhs.
The new generation of Classic 350 will have a new chassis, which means it promises better ride and handling than the current model. The engine is also a brand new unit that will meet BS Vl emission norms from day 1. Its displacement is rumoured to be either 350 cc like the current one, or upgrade to 400 cc and offer more performance with added power and torque, combined with the expected lower weight of the new chassis.
The new-gen Classic 350 will compete with the usual suspects – the Benelli Imperiale 400, Jawa Standard, and even other modern tourers like the Bajaj Dominar 400. It is expected to launch in the second half of 2020.
