Ever since Hyundai adopted the fluidic design language, they are quite successful in creating a stir among the automotive fraternity. And without doubt, Hyundai Elantra was benefitted the best from this move from Hyundai. The car instantly became one of the looking premium sedan and now Hyundai has decided to give it a facelift.
Our friends at the Worldcarfans has managed to get their hands on the Hyundai's next-gen Elantra in the recently revealed spy images covered in full camouflage. The next generation Elantra will replace the current, fifth generation Elantra, which was introduced in 2010 and is on its way to retirement now. The successor, which is hiding underneath heavy camouflage will see its global launch in the later half of the year.
Hyundai recently adopted the latest design language called 'Fluidic Sculpture 2.0', after they gained much success with the initial Fluidic design language. An initial glance at the camouflaged car and you will realize that the dimensions are almost similar to the current gen model. The bumper is expected to get lots of tweaking along with a hexagonal front grille from the bigger Hyundai cars.
The car is also expected to get revamped engine list from turbocharged petrols to plug-in hybrids and possible full electric model. While the global debut will occur in the second half of 2015, Indian launch is not yet clear, but can happen in early 2016. Expected price would be Rs 15-18 lakh!
