With the launches going around, it is needless to say that Hyundai has begun working on the next generation Xcent. With the rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which is in its third generation, Hyundai is not lagging by introducing the second generation Xcent compact sedan in early 2020, as it is just a four year old product in India. The compact sedan segment is still ruled by Maruti Suzuki Dzire in the Indian market, Hyundai is planning to make the model more appealing for the Indian buyers. Hyundai Xcent also rivals with the Honda Amaze, Volkswagen Ameo and recently launched Ford Aspire.
Exterior wise, the Hyundai Xcent 2020 is expected to get the same in its length, but the car is expected to become wider, compared to the existing model. With this the car would appear bigger. Hyundai will focus more on adding more space in the cabin so that the interior could provide more knee room and headroom for the rear passengers. The new Xcent will be based on its hatchback sibling, the next generation Grand i10, Codenamed as AI3.
Expect it to come packed with the features and could also sport an AC vents and USB charging port for the rear passengers and sunroof to lure more buyers.
