They say quality comes at a price and one such quality is the design of the cars, which is one of the biggest factors that can pull large amounts of sum from the people's pockets. And that is the reason some of the best looking cars cost millions. But that is definitely not the case with the entry level hatchback from Mercedes-Benz, the A-Class, which has been spied in its next generation avatar.
Mercedes-Benz is without doubt one of the best looking cars in the country and priced at around Rs 25 lakh, it is definitely the cheapest from the German manufacturer. Launched at around two years ago, the car is ready to get a facelifted version, which is being recently spied testing by our friends at Worlcarfans and the camouflaged version gave an impression of minimal changes to the looks.
The recently spied images in light camouflaged prototype suggest that the next generation model will come with minor changes. The refreshed model will include a new front bumper and modified lighting units. The rest of the car looks almost similar to the current generation model. On the interior front, we are hoping for a revised and updated interior with larger infotainment system display.
Under the hood, the engine options are likely to be carried forward from the Mercedes-Benz B-Class. The petrol motor will be a 1.5 litre four cylinder engine able to produce 90 ps power while the diesel unit will be a turbocharged 2.0 litre four cylinder that develops 211 ps power and 350 Nm of torque.
