Like we have discussed earlier when the first set of spy shots for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz A-Class luxury hatchback emerged, the A-Class is already a beautiful looking vehicle. But Mercedes is not ready to let go the A-Class like that and a fresh set of spy images have surfaced online thanks to our friends at the Worldcarfans.
The images spied this time are almost undisguised revealing the complete details of the entry-level car from the German auto giant. For what it seems, the changes will be limited only to the graphics, that will be revised for the headlights and taillights. There will be other minor and subtle changes at the bumper and grille too.
We couldn't stop us from noticing that the exhaust tips has been neatly integrated into the rear bumper, a design change which the Mercedes is making in all the recent models and facelifts, to enable a cleaner design. While the spy shots of the cabin are not yet available, previous spy shots reveal that the A-Class will get a new steering wheel, infotainment system and updated switch gear.
On the engine front, the 2016 A-Class will largely carry over power plant from the current model. But, there will be a change to the range-topping A45 AMG model that will get an added power figure to compete against the Audi' RS3 Sportback that produces 367 hp power. According to rumors, the new A-Class A45 AMG will produce 380 hp of power as compared to current 360 hp.
While the Frankfurt Motor Show could very well witness the public unveiling of the car in September, an online reveal could occur in August.
