There's a great deal of anticipation with the upcoming facelift of the Toyota Innova, for it promises to be a completely new vehicle. To be launched in the Indonesian market first, and expected to make its world premiere on November 23, the MPV has been leaked in the brochures. The brochure leaked reveals all the details, including engines, interiors and exteriors.
The new Innova will be sold both with the diesel as well as petrol engine options and will be available in the three variant level namely G, V and Q. There will a new 2.4-litre GD diesel engine that could produce 149 PS and 360 Nm/342 Nm of torque depending on the gearbox. A choice of 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic gearbox will on offer.
In terms of the design, the updated Innova will get a bolder design language, evident from the front fascia. The changes will include a massive hexagonal grille, swept back projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights and the angular fog lights. The side profile will be somewhat similar with slightly sharper lines while the rear fascia will be new with wraparound headlamps and chrome inserts.
While the exterior silhouette for the Innova remains the same, the interior is anything but similar. The dashboard reflects the modern charm with dual-tone color theme, silver inserts and wooden inserts.
