On Monday, the electric car company NextEV revealed its NIO brand. The brand will promote the idea of ‘joyful lifestyle’ for the owners by making cars that are outstanding in performance along with superiority in terms of design as well.
Wraps were taken off the NIO EP9 as well, which is an electric supercar and had surpassed the EV record at Circuit Paul Ricard in France by lapping the ‘Green Hell’ which comprised of 20.8km in just 7m 05.12s. This record has earned it the glory of being the fastest supercar in the world.
It is brilliantlyequipped and comes with an interchangeable battery system that can be charged in 45 minutes and travel 427 kilometres. Users can also be in sync with the car thanks to the highly interactive and intelligent interface it has been given.
According to William Li, the Founder and Chairman of NextEV, the supercar has been made to give rise to new limits and sets an example for NIO. It sheds light on the brand’s technical and manufacturing capabilities and will be seen as a role model for all other electric vehicles. Once a user is fully satisfied with what an electric vehicle is capable of doing, the pollution level will decline rapidly.
Padmasree Warrior, the US CEO of NextEV said during the launch that in the past, cars were meant for people seeking mobility, but the future will take this one step further by giving people the freedom of time.
The supercar was launched at the Saatchi Gallery in Kings Road, London where journalists from all around the world had gathered to witness this luxury event. The entire event was also shown live on Chinese TV.
