Expanding its dealer network to 215 outlets across India, Nissan Group has inaugurated its two new retail outlets, Shakti Nissan and Royce Nissan at Chembur and Kandiwali, Mumbai, respectively. The inauguration of the dealership was done by Arun Malhotra, managing director, Nissan Motor India Private Limited. Nissan now has a network of 215 touch points across 165 cities. The brand is expanding it’s footprint across the country to provide easy convenience and accessibility to customers.
Speaking about the dealer openings, Mr Arun Malhotra, managing director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. said, “I am delighted to inaugurate these two new dealerships in Mumbai. Adding them to the Nissan network in Mumbai marks Nissan’s three dealership openings in Mumbai in the last six months. We continue to expand our reach and provide our customers with best-in-class products and services together with our dealer partners.
Further, he added, “Nissan’s strategy for continued and significant growth in India is underpinned by our commitment to providing customers with a superior ownership experience. This is backed by our continuous expansion of dealership outlets nationwide towards our target of setting up 300 outlets across the country by the end of March 2017”.
Both the new outlets will showcase Nissan and Datsun brands, where Shakti Nissan in Chembur is led by Mr. Arun Bhanushali and Royce Nissan in Kandiwali is headed by Mr. Hemant Shah. Both the retail outlets are located in Mumbai and will cater to the expanding customer base in the region.
In order to increase in the company’s footprint across the country to provide easy convenience and accessibility to customers, Nissan has focused on improving the customer’s experience when visiting dealers, where in 2015, the brand was ranked third by J.D. Power Asia Pacific in India Sales Satisfaction Index study.
