Nissan India has started pre-bookings of the new Nissan Kicks compact SUV at a booking amount of Rs 25,000 across all Nissan dealerships in the country. Customers can also pre-book on company's official website. Earlier, Nissan unveiled its compact SUV – a product from its global lineup as parts of its strategy in India. in India, the new Kicks will directly pounce against Hyundai Creta.

Speaking on this, Hardeep Singh Brar, Director, Sales and Commercial, Nissan Motors India Ltd., said, “The new Nissan KICKS is a testimony to our commitment to bring the best of global products and technology to our customers in India. We are confident that with its progressive SUV design and advanced technology, the KICKS will appeal to new-age urban adventure seekers.”

Speaking of the exterior, the new compact SUV boasts of company’s signature chrome finished V motion grill, LED projector headlamps with daytime running lights, boomerang styled tail lamps at the rear, floating roof rails, cladding on wheel arches, sides as well as skid plates, shark fin antenna and more. The new Nissan Kicks rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior welcomes you with black and brown dual-tone upholstery along with some carbon fibre finished plastic. The car also gets leather wrapped soft-touch dashboard, steering wheel & door panels and leather seats as well.

Nissan Kicks Officially Unveiled in India

In terms of equipment, the Kicks compact SUV comes packed with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 360 degree camera display for parking, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, ABS with EBD & brake assist (as a standard fitment across the model range), cruise control, auto headlamp, cornering fog lamps, automatic climate control, cooled glove box, hill start assist and rain sensing wipers.

Under the bonnet, the Nissan Kicks compact SUV will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel option. The petrol variant would get a 1.5-litre H4K engine that makes 105 bhp of power when paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 1.5-litre K9K dci engine that develops 108 bhp of power when connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. For those who are asking about the automatic variant, there is no such offering by the brand as of yet.
