Nissan Kicks Gets New XE Base Variant Priced at Rs 9.89 lakh

Nissan India has added a new entry-level diesel variant in Nissan Kicks line-up. The base new variant called the XE, priced at Rs 9.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which is around Rs 1.2 lakh pricier than the previous XL trim. This variant is powered by Renault-Nissan’s 1.5-litre K9K oil burner, while the XL and XV variants receive new features resulting in a slight hike in price by Rs 24,000 and Rs 2000 respectively.

Nissan Kicks XE Variant

There is a new top-spec variant, called XV Pre which is primarily a consolidated version of the top-two trims. It gets all the features of the previous range-topping version, though it costs Rs 1 lakh less than that. In addition to the standard 2-year warranty, it now comes with a 3-year extension at no extra premium.

The XE trim carries over most of the features from XL variant along with the standard NissanConnect technology pack that offers over 50 connectivity features to the customers. While the XL trim gets some extra features such as vehicle dynamic control, front fog lamps, steering mounted controls, 17-inch alloys and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The mid-spec XV grade additionally gets cruise control, power-folding and adjusting ORVMs, hill-start assist, keyless entry, etc. While the top-spec variant receives side airbags, black-brown dual interiors, leather seats. The two-tone exterior paint scheme is specific to the top-spec XV Pre grade. As for the XL and XV petrol trims, they continue to be offered with the same engine and features with no change in pricing.
