The highly anticipated new Nissan GT-R 2017 is all set to launch in India on December 2. The upcoming Nissan GT-R will get updates in terms of both the interiors and exteriors, alongside it will be also updated with a new engine for better performance. Those who are looking to get their hands on the Godzilla, they can now pre-book the sports car with a booking amount of Rs. 25 lakhs.
The performance sports was first unveiled at the New York International Auto Show earlier in 2016. Finally, Nissan is at set to bring in the 2017 GT-R in the first week of December. Nissan already had plans to launch the Godzilla in India for quite some time now. But somehow the plan couldn’t materialise, and the sports car stayed away from our country. The new GTR is more sharper, agile and performance oriented than the older car.
Under the hood, the iconic Godzilla would be powered by a twin turbocharged, 3.8-litre V6 24-valve engine, which can develop maximum power of 568 Bhp @ 6,800 rpm and a peak torque of 637Nm. In Japan the mill is called as ‘Takumi’ as it is handcrafted by very few craftsmen. The transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission system, which helps to perform the Godzilla brilliantly.
The all-new 2017 Nissan GT-R dons an incorporated mark style V-motion grille that goes quite well with the new upgraded design, a newly designed engine hood, all-new front lip spoiler and revised guards. Nissan has additionally reworked on the the side sills for better aerodynamics. The rear part of the car dons slightly upgraded design that is further complimented by a newly designed taillamps.
In terms of feature, the Godzilla will don many features which includes new Recaro seats, leather wrapped center console, door panels and gearshift lever, shock absorbers can also be adjusted by the driver this time, multiple driving modes for different style of driving and a new active noise cancellation. In terms of safety, Nissan kept no stones unturned, it has equipped the sports car with front & rear sonar sensors, 6 airbags, dynamic control, a new traction control system, ABS and EBD.
