Nissan has sent a shadowy teaser image ahead of the Sao Paulo Motorshow, Brazil, slated to be held on 28th October, 2014. Not much of the details are revealed by the Nissan, other than the image and a one line press release stating “Prepare yourself for the world premiere of Nissan's new concept car at São Paulo Motor Show 2014 at 8:30 a.m. local time on October 28, 2014.”
The first looks suggests that the new Nissan could be a crossover or a proper SUV. The picture suggests the adventurous nature of the car with all the muscle added to the front and the tall looks. The car does have a roof rail, bulging hood, a prominent grille and distinctive headlights.
An aggressive ‘V’ grille design is incorporated with all the chrome, a look adopted by the Nissan SUVs lately. Nissan revealed their Extrem concept at the same Sao Paulo Motorshow two years ago in 2012, having 3 doors and 2+2 seating arrangement. The Extrem concept was based on a V-Platform, which is also utilized by the Nissan Micra and Sunny.
The new SUV can very well be based on the same Extrem concept, although it will have 5 door design along with a 2+3 seating arrangement. Whatsoever may be the product, the teaser looks promising.
