The Japanese automaker, Nissan has released the first teaser picture of the Sport Sedan concept, which will be unveiled at 2014 North American International Auto Show, scheduled for January 13th, 2014 in Detroit. Commenting on its preview, the machine makers said that it "previews a new energetic design direction that amplifies Nissan's legendary approach of applying sports car principles to a sedan."
The Sport Sedan concept resembles more like the concept displayed on screen during the celebration event of Nissan’s 80th anniversary in August, 2013. The recently revealed Sedan concept shares the same angular LED headlights, wing mirror, chrome-highlighted ‘V’ grille, blacked-out A-pillar, a sculptured bonnet, wheel design and flowing guards with the previously displayed concept picture.
If rumours are to be believed, the Nissan Sport Sedan concept is likely to appear as the next-generation Nissan Maxima for the US market. The existing model of the Nissan Maxima is inspired from Nissan Murano SUV, which is doing decent a business since its launch. However, Nissan didn’t bring the Maxima for Indian buyers. The concept appears as inspiration for Nissan’s future designs.
The all new Nissan IDx Nismo and IDx Freeflow concepts will join the global debut of the Sport Sedan concept, which were first seen at the Tokyo Motor Show. Carrying a sophisticated lifestyle and ultra-sporty spirit, both the Sport car concepts address the young generation.
