Nissan is going the way of the internet. We just got word that Nissan will be participating in the Great Online Shopping Festival 2013 (GOSF) which is being organized by Google India. This is following the announcement by Nissan that they will be selling their cars online.

Customers can book their cars online and make payments through an online gateway by paying with a credit card or a debit card. They will be then contacted by the respective dealership to deliver the car to their doorstep.

This year GOSF will be much bigger and will be a 3-day event instead of being a 1-day event like it was last year. Nissan is looking to boost its sales by being available at GOSF on their own page www.nissan.in/gosf over the 3 days of the online event.

Mr. Nitish Tipnis, Director, Marketing, Hover Automotive India said, "We are delighted to partner Google India for this exciting Shopping Festival. ”We want our consumers to experince the globally renowned Nissan cars well known for technology, luxury and comfort – all at an affordable price point and low cost of ownership. Nissan has always been on the forefront of innovation both in the cars we produce and also how we present and communicate our brand."
