FCA India has officially stated that the recently launched Jeep Compass has touched the 10,000 bookings milestone in the country. The Italian automaker opened pre-bookings for the SUV on June 19th and launched it on July 31st this year. The deliveries of the Jeep Compass started on August 6, 2017 via 50 Jeep-flagship and FCA outlets, across 47 cities. The company has confirmed over 92,000 enquiries as of today for the SUV , while the production in Ranjangaon plant has been paced up with two shifts working six days a week to reduce waiting period.

Commenting on the milestone Kevin Flynn – President and Managing Director, FCA India said, “The Made in India Jeep® Compass has gained remarkable traction in the market since we opened the order books in June. Along with the incredible response to our pricing, which has been simply overwhelming, customers are also drawn to the Jeep® Compass for its impressive character, sophistication, capability and authenticity. We are working with our Plant to deliver the product to customers in the least possible time.” The Jeep Compass is available to customers in three trims - Sport, Longitude and Limited and 10 variants, including a 4x2 Turbo Petrol with a 7-speed automatic transmission (DDCT).
Fiat has revealed that bookings for the Jeep Compass have doubled since launch its launch on July 31, while there has been a five-fold increase in enquiries since opening of order books in June. The company had recently introduced its Global service and customer care brand Mopar in India. All FCA authorized workshops across India are now Mopar-branded and technicians are specially trained as per global standards and diagnostic techniques to attend to all servicerelated issues should they arise. Kevin Flynn concluded, “Our go-to-market strategy has worked as planned and now we are focusing on execution. We are giving equal priority to Jeep® Compass retails, expanding our sales and service network, and strengthening our Mopar-driven after-sales operations.”
