Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), the home-grown automaker, has officially launched the TUV300 Plus at an introductory price of Rs 9.47 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai) in the country. Being a 9-seater SUV, it is being offered in three variants - P4, P6 and P8. Mahindra TUV300 Plus would be available in five attractive colours: Majestic Silver, Glacier white, Bold Black, Dynamo Red and Molten Orange. The interiors of the SUV have been designed by legendary Italian design house Pininfarina, while it is powered by a more powerful engine.
The TUV300 Plus measures 4400mm in length, 1835mm in width and 1812mm in height, while riding on 16-inch alloy wheels and flauting an aggressive front grille. The rear seats can be folded to create additional storage area. Boasting of Cushion Suspension Technology, Mahindra TUV300 Plus features faux leather seats, while getting several premium features such as steering mounted audio & phone controls, a rear defogger alongwith wash & wipe, a driver seat height adjuster, armrests for the front row, 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment with GPS navigation and 4 speakers + 2 tweeters, Bluesense App, ECO mode & Micro Hybrid Technology, Brake Energy Regeneration Technology, Intellipark Reverse Assist, Driver Information System, storage tray below the driver’s seat and lead-me-to-vehicle & follow-me-home headlamps.
Underpinning a toughened high-strength steel body alongwith chassis derived from the Scorpio, the TUV300 Plus comes with dual-airbags and ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution. Additionally, the hazard lights also switch on incase of panic braking. Mechanically, the SUV is powered by the proven and reliable mHAWKD120 diesel engine which delivers top power of 120bhp and peak torque of 280 Nm, while linked to a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel-drive system. The TUV300 Plus will be available with customizable finance options with low down payment & attractive EMIs as low as Rs. 11,999. The SUV will come with customised AMC options starting from Rs. 0.31/km and extended shield warranty of up to 5 years.
