Bajaj Auto India has launched the new Platina 110 at an introductory price of Rs 49,197 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) in the country. It will be available in Ebony black with grey decals, Ebony black with blue decals and Cocktail wine red across all Bajaj Auto dealership in India. New Bajaj Platina 110 is the first motorcycle in its segment to offer anti-skid brakes and dual spring-on-spring and Nitrox shock absorbers. The bike also gets first-in-segment tubeless tyres as a standard fitment, which are widest and thickest in its 100cc segment.

With a kerb weight of 117 kgs and ground clearance of 200mm, the Platina 110 has an ARAI certified fuel economy of 80kmpl. It is powered by a 115cc engine which generates top power of 8.6bhp at 7000rpm and peak torque of 9.81Nm at 5000rpm. The engine is linked to a 4-speed gearbox. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 11 litres. Though, it is deprived of disc brakes both at front and rear, it do gets Combined Braking System (CBS) as standard. Bajaj Platina 110 will take on the likes of Hero Splendor iSmart 110, Honda CD 110 Dream, TVS Victor and Yamaha Saluto RX in the Indian market.
