The Japanese automobile manufacturing giant Nissan, celebrated the official beginning of the Note production. The Note will be manufactured at the Sunderland Plant in the United Kingdom. Now this plant is a record holder for being the largest manufacturing unit in all of U.K. The plant’s production value will definitely be augmented with the addition of the Note following an investment of 125 million Pounds by the Japanese manufacturer. Moreover 9.3 million Pounds have been granted for the plant from the United Kingdom government as regional growth fund.
Nissan’s senior vice president of supply and purchasing management chain of Europe, Mr. John Martin, is officially marking the commencement ceremony on Line 2 and the Sunderland Plant. Alongside Mr. Martin, Mr. Michael Fallon U.K’s Minister of state for enterprise and business was also in attendance. The Note is a super mini based and created with cutting edge technology that already has customers waiting in line to take a look. Till now the Nissan dealerships across Europe totally have taken 14,000 pre-bookings for the car since the booking orders opened in July. The car is designed flawlessly to meet the expectations of B segment car loving consumers. Everything the car has, outside and inside are specially designed for European customers, extensive research was done on the European automobile bazaar to get the design in place.
Apart from these positive changes, the brand will now add another 2,000 new jobs and will increase their workforce by 400 people, all thanks to the new Note. This brings the grand total to 35,000 people, who are employed by the Japanese automobile manufacturing giant in the United Kingdom. The brand has also plans to bring the Note into the Indian car bazaar, as India is currently home for people obsessed with small and crossover automobiles. But it's going to need some major modifications to make it suitable for harsh Indian roads.
