Okinawa PraisePro E-Scooter Launched at Rs 71,990; Details Inside

Okinawa, the country's one of the leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched the PraisePro at a sticker price of Rs 71,990 (Ex. Showroom, India). It is the third variant in the Praise portfolio and comes as the budget-friendly version of the i-Praise. Okinawa PraisePro can be availed in two colour options: Glossy Red Black and Glossy Sparkle Black.

The PraisePro comes with several features such as alarm, find my scooter function, USB charging point and front & rear walk assist. The walk assist feature comes handy in moving the scooter on uneven terrains as the motor automatically pushes the scooter at 5kmph. The suspension system on offer with the electric scooter is a telescopic fork and twin shocks with braking duties helmed by discs both at the front and rear. It rides on Ceat powered 90/90-12 tyres, front and rear. There are LEDs all around to take care of the lighting.

Okinawa PraisePro Launched at Rs 71,990

Under the hood, the PraisePro has a 2kWh removable lithium-ion battery and a 1kW Brushless DC electric motor (BLDC). The company claims that the motor is waterproof with a peak power output of 2.5kW. It offers three driving modes: Economy with a top speed of 30-35kmph, Sport with top speed of 50-60kmph and Turbo with top speed of 65-70kmph. The scooter has a driving range of 88 km and 110 km in Sport and Economy mode, respectively. The charging time has been stated as 2-3 hours, albeit in 'ideal test conditions'. The company is also providing a charger which is compatible with a standard socket at homes. The removable battery, as well as the direct charging point on the scooter, use the same charger.
