The latest member of McLaren’s ever growing lineup is the 570S Coupe which has now been pampered by McLaren Special Operations (MSO). The vehicle will be shown later this month at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and has received a special Mauvine Blue body paint which has also been applied inside the cabin on some of the areas such as the seats, dashboard and steering wheel. Speaking of the interior, this particular McLaren 570S Coupe comes with a Carbon Black leather upholstery and a carbon fiber trim.
Besides bringing this car, McLaren has also announced plans to stage the world premiere of another 570S Coupe which will wear a Ventura Orange paint and will be equipped with several styling details elaborated by MSO Defined. For the moment, images with this second special model are not available, but should emerge in the coming days.
These two cars won’t undergo any mechanical changes so the duo will share the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine pushing out 570 bhp and 600 Nm. It’s enough muscle to grant the 570S Coupe with a 0-100 kmph run in just 3.2 seconds while the 0-200 kmph journey takes 9.5 seconds before topping out at 328 kmph.
Compared to previous models, the V8 engine has 30% new parts and works exclusively with a seven-speed SSG sending power to the 19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels while the stopping power is provided by carbon ceramic brakes that come as standard equipment.
The 570S Coupe isn’t actually McLaren’s entry-level model as they also have a 540C which as the name implies comes with 540 bhp from the same twin-turbo V8 3.8-liter. However, this car won’t be available all over the world. For example, the company doesn’t plan on selling it in United States even though Canadian availability has already been confirmed.
Also at the upcoming Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, McLaren will showcase the limited edition 675LT and the 650S Le Mans as well as the highly desirable 1996 F1 GTR.
