One of the stories uploaded on an Indonesian website recently reveals the facelift Honda CB150R. It is clear from the images that the facelift Honda CB150 has received a slew of cosmetic changes. The new CB150R clearly looks buffed up and more appealing. According to the report the facelift CB150R has received both mechanical and cosmetic upgrades. Talking about the looks, the facelift is equipped with split seats, a more compact headlight assembly, different grab rails and it still utilizes the diamond steel frame.
We can say that the facelift CB150R is going to be a bigger version of the current model, the report says it will be longer and taller than its predecessor. The body panels are redesigned and this has changed its looks majorly, everything else looks more or less the same. Apart from the cosmetics, the new CB150R will also get mechanicals upgrades; the 150cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine churns out 16.7bhp of maximum power and 14Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. CB150R is a naked version of the fully faired CBR150R motorcycle. Under the fairing both of the motorcycles shares the same engine and mechanicals. However it is not certain that Honda India will bring these changes to their current product line-up here.
