Piaggio India Inaugurates New Showroom in Burdwan, West Bengal

Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd has inaugurated a new showroom in Burdwan, West Bengal. The new dealership was inaugurated in presence of Mr. Ashish Yakhmi, Business Head, Piaggio 2 Wheelers. The company will only offer Aprillia and Vespa products at the Burdwan dealership which is spread over an area of 1500 sq. ft. The showroom layout has been designed keeping in mind the lifestyle and premium experience which reflects the Italian heritage of the brands.

On the occasion, Mr. Diego Graffi, CEO and MD Piaggio India expressed “New dealership resonates the style quotient of both Vespa and Aprilia brands and would offer its customers extraordinary experience in the area of sales and Customer Service”.

Mr. Ashis Kumar Dey, proprietor of Ankur Engineers said “We are pleased to associate with Piaggio and offer their world class, premium products to our esteemed customers, with the Aprilia and Vespa we will deliver not only world class premium products but also extraordinary service to the aspiring youth, who is not only dynamic but also embrace international culture and are upwardly mobile”.

Riding high on the success of Aprilia SR 150, the Italian two-wheeler manufacturer is planning to expand its dealership network in the country by 2020. That said, Piaggio is expected to almost double its dealership count within next two years. The new dealership at Burdwan, West Bengal is a part of its expansion plans. Aside from expanding its network, the company is also focusing on adding more products to its range including RS 150 and Tuono 150 by mid-2019. Both the models were revealed at the Auto Expo 2018 and are expected to be manufactured locally at Piaggio’s facility in Baramati.
