Pirelli partners CEAT, to give a solid ground to its business in India

The Superbike market is picking up pace in India and in next 5 years this industry is about to expand by 15%. Today CEAT and Pirelli went into official partnership for distribution of Pirelli’s global range of premium motorcycle tyres in the fast growing Indian market. CEAT tyres has a broad distribution network in India and with the help of a network like this Pirelli will bring in its entire line of motorcycle tyres.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Uberto Thun, Senior VP Pirelli Tyre, said, “We are very glad to partner with CEAT to bring our range of products in India. CEAT’s vast experience of selling tyres in the market and their vast network make them the perfect partner to distribute and activate our products in the market. India has huge potential in premium and super sport motorcycle segment and we feel we can grow very fast with our premium products.”

Pirelli is based in Milan, Italy and when it comes to manufacturing tyres, Pirelli is a world leader in the high-end segments, premium tyres. Now using CEAT’s vast network, Pirelli will be able to reach a larger range of Indian buyers.
