The 12th edition of the one of India’s most challenging rallies, the Desert Storm 2014 that concluded on March 1, 2014 was dominated by the Polaris RZR XP 900. Polaris India competed in the Xtreme 4 wheelers category and the winning buggy was driven by Mr Raj Singh Rathore along with navigator Vishnu Singh. Mr Rathore had bagged the first place in the Xtreme Quad category at the Desert Storm 2013. Apart from the RZR XP 900, Polaris India had also entered it’s Sportsman 850 model that bagged the first place in the Quad categoryy and 6th in the Moto/Quad category. A total of 55 rallyists participated in this category.
The Desert Storm 2014 was flagged off on the February 24, 2014 from New Delhi. This was the third consecutive year, which saw participations from Polaris India, the subsidiary of Polaris Industries and the world’s largest off-road and all terrain manufacturer.
