Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition Launched at Rs. 1.06 Crores

Porsche India has launched the Cayenne Platinum Edition at a sticker price of Rs. 1.06 Crores (Ex. Showroom, Maharashtra) in the country. Being available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims, the special edition models boasts of premium-quality features and sporty appearance. The new models are available for order now, with deliveries set to commence in August 2016. The Italian sports car maker uses the Platinum Edition designation for selected model series that are offered for only a limited time.

Commenting on the introduction of the latest Cayenne model variant, Pavan Shetty, Director, of Porsche India, said: “The Cayenne Platinum Edition is a thrilling four-door sports car with purposefully selected materials for an even greater sense of style. The comprehensive range of standard equipment and eye-catching details makes this premium model a truly attractive offering for our enthusiasts.” The Platinum Edition models comes with large 20-inch wheels in RS Spyder design, housed in wider wheel arches. The SUV also flaunts stainless steel door sills showcasing "Platinum Edition" lettering. The interior cabin comprises of leather sport seats with electric eight-way adjustment, Alcantara centre panels and the Porsche crest on all headrests.


 
The Cayenne also comes with additional standard features, such as Adaptive Air Suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth/mobile phone preparation, 4-zone climate control and electrical sun blinds for side windows. Both models are available in a wide range of standard colours, such as non-metallic black or white, Jet Black Metallic, Rhodium Silver Metallic, Mahogany Metallic, Carrera White Metallic. A special exterior colour named Purpurite Metallic is available as an option. The wider wheel arches are also finished in the chosen exterior colour. The elegant appearance is rounded off by the black high-gloss exterior package.

Additional high-end standard features include the latest generation Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with a seven-inch touchscreen, navigation and Connect Plus module with Apple CarPlay and Siri voice, the BOSE Surround Sound system as well as a stylish analogue clock integrated in the dashboard. The models’ expanded range of features improves comfort and safety. Standard equipment in the Cayenne Platinum Edition models includes: Bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Power Steering Plus and ParkAssist in the front and rear. The two models feature rear-view and exterior mirrors with an automatic anti-glare feature. The Platinum Edition of Porsche’s entry-level Cayenne delivers 300bhp, whilst the Cayenne Diesel produces 245bhp. Below is the Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition price:
