Both the motorcycles share a lot of things like same single-cylinder, 200 cc, air-cooled engine as seen on the Xtreme 200R, single-channel ABS, all-digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps, smoked windscreen, side-indicators and engine bash plate (metal). However, Hero will surely tune the engine keeping in mind the different characteristics of both the motorcycles.
The Xpulse 200T has a slightly different handlebar - flat and a bit wide. It also gets a different set of wheels (alloy) and rubber (MRF Nylogrip Zapper at the front and MRF Revz at the rear). The 200T is equipped with a single piece touring seat. The off-roader Xpulse 200 has spoked wheels shod with Ceat Gripp rubber. It has a seat height of 825 mm which can bother the short riders a bit but the sporty narrow seat can assist them to put their feet flat on the ground.
