The Honda owned super car manufacturing unit Acura, has unconstrained the primary illustration of the first of its kind NSX supercar, this prototype is expected to be launched internationally in 2015. The NSX supercar will make its first public appearance at the Mid-Ohio race circuit on the 4th of August in Lexington, Ohio. Ohio is same the place where the NSX supercar is currently being designed and urbanized by Honda North America, and will also be manufactured in the same place.
The first concept version of the NSX was revealed in the Detroit International Auto Show in 2012. This year the brand gave a sneak preview of the slightly modified version of the same concept NSX supercar in January. Honda has also confirmed that the production model will be almost the same as the concept version with the stock mid-mounted V6 petrol block wedded to Acura’s pioneering new 3 motor Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) classification. Changes have only been made to the exterior of the car, and a few interior aspects.
The Hybrid locomotive or the SH-AWD is paired with an electric cruiser, that aids in the rotation of the rear wheels with the help of a 7 speed twin clutch gearbox. The front wheels are driven by dual stimulating motors, which now makes the car an all wheel drive (AWD). The NSX production automobile is expected to have a total output of 400 bhp, although the Torque was not disclosed, it is expected to be the most noteworthy, as the Torque will be derived from a total of 3 electric coasts, which in return will help the car to deliver a staggering performance. The brand has also promised sharp handling of the car, as the dual motors in the front will allow extremely receptive Torque guiding.
