Few images just surfaced the internet showing a Pulsar RS200 shattered from the front end completely. According to Mohsin Patel who posted these pictures on a social media website, the front alloy wheel of his Pulsar RS200 broke as soon as he applied the brakes while riding on a highway. Due to which, he along with his wife fell on the road and suffered some injuries after whuch both were hospitalized.
The state of the alloy wheel is surprising and by looking at the images, it is easy to tell that the Pulsar didn’t hit any other object which might have resulted in destruction of the front alloy. Even the sides of the motorcycle looks fine which supports Mohin’s statement. Though the issue of alloy wheel braking is not new, in past couple of KTMs were reported to have faced similar issues. It’s been quite some time since RS200 was launched and it is the first case reported on RS200’s alloys. We cannot raise questions on Bajaj’s build quality just by looking at the images; it will be too soon to say anything certain on the case. We will report to you the latest updates regarding the same case in the future.
