Jaguar Land Rover India has launched the Range Rover Evoque Convertible at a sticker price of Rs. 69.53 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being only available in the full-loaded HSE Dynamic trim, the Evoque Convertible is India’s first luxury convertible SUV. It is powered by Land Rover’s next-generation 2.0L, 4-cylinder Si4 Ingenium Petrol engine which develops top power of 237bhp.

Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. (JLRIL), said: “We are excited to launch India’s first luxury SUV convertible today. The Range Rover Evoque Convertible combines the bold design and refinement of Evoque with a sophisticated folding roof. It adds another dimension to the Land Rover family, further enhancing its desirability and appeal.” The SUV comes with a fabric Z-folding Convertible Roof System, while boasting of several contemporary features such as configurable ambient interior lighting, perforated Windsor leather seats and adaptive full LED headlights as standard. Also, there is the Wi-Fi Hotspot which uses a customer sourced SIM to provide in car access to a hotspot for up to eight devices.
In addition, there is the Head-up Display which presents key vehicle data such as vehicle speed, gear position and navigation directions on the windscreen, without the need for the driver to take their eyes off the road. The Range Rover Evoque Convertible also gets InControl – Pro Services which ensure seamless connectivity between the vehicle, your smartphone and the rest of the world. The Surround Camera System uses cameras placed around the vehicle to offer a near-360° view. The SUV also gets ‘Torque Vectoring by Braking’ system and All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) as standard fitments. The 2.0L petrol engine is linked to a lightweight and compact 9‑speed automatic transmission.
