Range Rover LWB Autobiography Black edition is now available to order in India at an introductory price of Rs. 3.75 crore (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) in the diesel guise. The petrol variant would cost an individual a staggering Rs 3.85 crores (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). Currently, it is the most expensive SUV available in India. Land Rover has launched the LWB Autobiography Black edition as the new top-end variant in the Range Rover line-up. The SUV is luxurious than ever and offers vast customisation options than the standard car. Being the Long Wheelbase (LWB) model, it offers 180mm of more space inside the cabin. It can be distinguished from the regular Range Rover variants quite easily as it flaunts a special finish at the front grille, while riding on 21- or 22-inch glossy aluminium alloy wheels. In addition, there is chrome garnish on the tailgate and tail-lamp cluster is also pretty different.
The entire interior cabin of the SUV is finished in leather with a choice of multiple colors. Coming to the features, the Range Rover LWB Autobiography Black edition comes with front seats massaging function, 18-way adjustable driver's seat, reclining rear seats with lumbar massage, calf-rests, 10.2-inch infotainment screens, centre console with various controls, chiller and tables with USB ports.
Under the hood, the diesel variant of the Range Rover LWB Autobiography Black edition are powered by a 4.4L SDV8 motor, which generates a maximum power output of 335bhp. On the other hand, the petrol variant comes loaded with a 5.0L supercharged V8 powertrain, which pumps out a thumping 503bhp. Both these engines are linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This luxurious was showcased to the Indian people at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show in February.
