It's been nearly 50 years now that Land Rover created the luxury SUV sector with the name, Range Rover. Now it’s defining a new genre with the world’s first full-size luxury SUV coupé: the limited-edition two-door Range Rover SV Coupé. Created by Land Rover Design and Special Vehicle Operations, it is an exemplar of Range Rover design, craftsmanship and capability. Land Rover will produce just 999 units that will be handcrafted by SVO for clients worldwide.

Feedback from SV clients who have already seen the vehicle in confidential commissioning sessions has been overwhelmingly positive.”
Exterior wise, the Coupé gets a powerful stance and an unrivalled on-road presence. It gets the new two-door aluminium exterior panels, as are the front and rear bumpers, Pixel-laser LED headlights with 144 LEDs, signature floating roof, continuous waist and tapering tail that has been in the DNA of a Range Rover. SV Coupé’s purity of line is perfectly complemented by elegant power-close doors with frameless glass. In combination with the panoramic roof, light floods into the cabin, accentuating the relaxed, sophisticated and contemporary ambience. The car for the first time also gets an option of a 23-inch wheels.
Inside, the Coupé’s comes equipped with the 20-way heated and cooled electrically adjustable front and 10-way electrically adjustable rear seats, semi-aniline leather upholstery, featuring a unique gradated diamond quilt design, a 10 inch InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment, 10 inch control panel and 12 inch Interactive Driver Display along with a 10 inch full-colour Head-Up Display and a 1700w, 23-speaker Meridian 3D Signature Sound System with dual-channel subwoofer. What’s more, it has is the options for three elegant wood veneer for the steering wheel rim, door casings, centre console, instrument panel and loadspace floor - Nautica, Natural Black Ash and Santos Palisander. Every SV Coupé will be hand-assembled to the client’s personal specification by the fastidious experts at the SVO Technical Centre in the UK – a first for Range Rover.
Under the hood, the SV Coupé will come packed with a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol powertrain that will churn out a maximum power of 557 bhp. Land Rover claims it to be the fastest-ever full-size Range Rover, with a 165mph top speed and SV Coupé hits 100kmph in just 5.3 seconds. Its suspension is tuned to provide a more driver-focused edge than the standard Range Rover, with a lowered ride height by 8mm and also with 900mm maximum wading depth with a maximum towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes.
