Ravindra Pisharody to be the new Vice President of SIAM

Snapshot: Ravindra Pisharody has been elected as the new Vice President of apex governing body that represents Indian Automotive industry, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

Ravindra Pisharody has been appointed as the new Vice President for apex governing body that represents Indian Automotive industry, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).  Ravindra is presently the Executive Director of Tata Motors, Commercial Vehicles division and apart from that, he is the board member of Tata Marcopolo Motors, Tata Motors South Africa, Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles, South Korea , Tata Cummins and Tata International.

Regarding the appointment, Ravindra said "I look forward to my new role as the Vice-President. I understand that the role would be challenging and I would like to pitch in with my contributions and help strengthen the team further so that we can move towards our common goals"

Ravindra has over 30 years of experience in Strategy Management and other areas like Sales, Marketing and Business Management. He has held several key positions in national as well as global leadership roles throughout his career. Ravindra holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from IIT Kharagpur and a post-graduate diploma in management from IIM, Calcutta.
