Regal Raptor Motorcycles launches three motorcycles in India

Regal raptor the 25 year old Singaporean motorcycle manufacturer has launched their three motorcycles in India. The motorcycles will be marketed by Hydrabad-based Fab Motors and will be brought into India by the CBU route. The CKD operations will start after the assembly line is established in Telangana. An investment of INR 1,000cr is expected to be done by Fab Motors. The three motorcycles that are being launch include DD 350 E (INR 2.96 lakh), Bobber (INR 3.22 lakh) and Daytona (INR 3.33 lakh).

All of the three motorcycles share the same engine which is a 320cc that churns out 23PS and 22Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed transmission. While the claimed 0-60km/hr is 3.5 seconds which is an amazing acceleration figure for all these cruiser-styled motorcycles. The booking amount is whooping INR 50k while the customer will have to wait for at least 3 months to get their hands on these bikes.

The bigger 500-800cc bikes will be available after 18 months or so and will stretch to INR 20 lakh price bracket. Once the plant is set up , the motorcycles will be exported to countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, UAE, Oman, Yemen and Pakistan by the Fab Motors.
